During the “Our Town” unit we did many things. I enjoyed getting to see all the other house teachers when we prepared for it during the week. I also enjoyed all the fun things we got to do and learn. On Friday when we actually went around town, I loved going to the Izaak Walton Park. I fished a little and got to mess in the water, it was fun. I also really liked the hike we got to do. The police station was new to me and very fun to go to also. I liked being at Richmond Hill and looking at the underground railroad at the museum.

On this trip I disliked the confusion it caused with going to hthe other houses teachers and not knowing which to go to and which not to go to. The cemetary didn't interest me as much as the other things we did, but I still didn't mind the walking. At Richmond Hill I was exited that we got dilly bars, but I think we needed more time to eat them cause I had to throw some of mine away since we had to get onto the bus. While at Richmond Hill there was a game going on. I didn't enjoy that game and I think you should try to find more games. Other than those things thistrip was the best!

Blood Typing

Blood typing is very important when you need blood or are donating blood to another person. It tells you what type of blood you have, either A, B, AB, or O. If you give someone blood you must give them the correct kind depending on what kind you have. To determine your blood they take a small amount and put two chemical drops in with distinct colors. Depending on what drops show up and don't show up tell you your blood type. As I said earlier you can have A, B, AB, or O. That's how blood typing works and why it's important.
